BARBAREN BARBIES - A Wild Women Circus is the production that started it all!

These five bold superheroines are here to amaze and delight you with their artistic talents whilst you laugh along with their wicked sense of humour. The Barbarian Barbies playfully tease stereotypes and tackle the complexity of womanhood. A true ode to the hilarity of the human condition wrapped in a big fat circus bow - bold opinions take center stage.

After residencies throughout 2021, the company premiered in March 2022 at Berlin’s Pfefferberg Theater. Since then, they’ve been touring throughout Germany, Austria and Poland and successfully debuted in August 2024 at the Edinburgh FRINGE Festival with Underbelly in Scotland.
They have performed at festivals such as the AToll Festival in Karlsruhe and the Tête-à-Tête in Rastatt, and can regularly be seen at theaters such as the Theaterhaus Stuttgart and the Societaetstheater in Dresden.
